Training

IGE Placement Program

IGE sources internship and training opportunities in the United States for foreign students and young professionals wishing to learn about American business and advance your career skills. Each employer is vetted by IGE.

You must have sufficient English skills as well as funds to support yourself for the entire length of the program in the United States, including housing and living expenses, and you must apply for positions that are directly related to your educational background or work experience.

 The company is a packaging manufacturer serving the food, pharmaceutical, food service, and industrial sectors. With advanced machinery and a skilled, dedicated team, it focuses on delivering quality, value, and integrity to build lasting customer trust. 

Applicant Qualification:  You must hold a bachelor’s/master's degree in Business or a related field and at least 1 year of related work experience OR be a career professional of 5+ years in Business or a related field. 

Training Includes:  Handling general administrative tasks such as data entry, filing, and word processing, as well as responding to customer inquiries via phone, email, or in person. Processing and managing sales orders, arranging shipments, contacting customers, and working collaboratively with team members.

The company is a Freight Forwarding, 3PL & VMI Service Provider, Customs Broker, Interstate Trucking Broker–One Stop Logistics Solution–established in 1995.

Applicant Qualification:  You must hold a bachelor’s/master's degree in Logistics or a related field and at least 1 year of related work experience OR be a career professional of 5+ years in Logistics or a related field. 

Training Includes:  Preparing and processing import/export documents, coordinating the movement of goods, and ensuring timely customs clearance and delivery. The position also involves regular communication with clients, agents, and partners via phone and email to provide shipment updates and resolve any logistics issues.

Housing & Meals: A room with us for the first 2 weeks 

Stipend: $18.00/hour

Host Company Description: Located in Waltham, MA, offering convenient access to both downtown Boston and the surrounding suburbs.  The hotel provides a range of amenities, including free Wi-Fi, complimentary breakfast, an indoor pool, and a fitness center. 

Applicant Qualification:  You must hold a bachelor’s/master's degree in hospitality, tourism management and have at least 1 year of related work experience OR be a career professional of 5+ years in hospitality, tourism management field.

Training Includes: Responsible for greeting guests, managing check-ins/check-outs, handling reservations, payments, and room assignments, addressing guest concerns, providing concierge services, and performing administrative tasks while maintaining an organized front desk.

Applicant Qualification: You must hold a bachelor’s/master's degree in hospitality, tourism or restaurant management and have at least 1 year of related work experience OR be a career professional of 5+ years in hospitality, tourism or restaurant management field.

Training Includes: Welcoming guests, managing check-ins and check-outs, addressing inquiries providing information about the hotel's amenities, serving as the first point of contact for guests upon arrival. Assisting Front office Manager with daily duties and operations.
